My Moon
The sky looked dark today
Surrounded by a weird tension
The Moon shined brightly at the centre
As always, drawing the attention
While the stars drifted away
From the weak and feeble us
It stayed close, sticking tightly
After the Big Bang fuss
Is that the reason I wonder
We find it so graceful
Loyal, innocent and sweet
Single coloured variant and cheerful
Is it our praises?
That feed beauty into it
With each lullaby, its charm enhanced
Poets giving a crafted knit
Is our Moon,
What it really seems to be
I don't know about the rest
But I love the one that belonged to me
